Why I Started Sanxingdui.vip

A local guide for Sanxingdui, written for travelers who want clear and simple answers.

Why I Started Sanxingdui.vip

I kept seeing the same thing. Travelers came to Guanghan with screenshots, translations, and a lot of questions. They knew where they wanted to go, but not what would work once they got here.

Sanxingdui is easy to admire. It is harder to visit well. The ticket steps, the transport choices, the map apps, and the language gap all become part of the trip. Most guides explain the history. What was missing was a clear guide for the trip itself.

Why this site exists

I built Sanxingdui.vip as the page I wish travelers had before they came. It is not a brochure, not an official portal, and not a travel ad. It is a simple guide based on local knowledge.

The goal is simple. Help people get from Chengdu to Sanxingdui, buy tickets, enter the museum, and enjoy the visit without too much stress.

What makes it different

  • Real trips, not slogans: I write about what actually happens, not what sounds good on a poster.
  • One page, one job: Each page answers one clear task, like tickets, transport, maps, or timing.
  • Made for foreign visitors: I try to explain the full process in plain English.
  • Independent: This site is not the museum, not a ticket seller, and not a tour agency.

Note: This is not the official museum website. I do not sell tickets or tours. I keep the site independent so it can stay useful and honest.

How I think about the content

I try to write the way a local would explain things to a friend: short, clear, and useful. If a traveler has only one afternoon and one chance to book, the guide should not waste their time.

As the site grows, I want it to feel like a live notebook that gets better every time a real traveler asks a real question.
